What NextStop does
NextStop helps users save routes in advance so they do not have to re-enter the same stops every time. Users can build a route once, keep the stops in order, and launch that saved route into Apple Maps or Google Maps from the app or from widgets.
It is designed for repeat trips like school drop-offs, appointments, errands, deliveries, and other drives that use the same sequence of destinations.
Core capabilities
- Save multi-destination routes
- Save a starting point and ordered destinations
- Create iOS and CarPlay widgets for saved routes
- Launch saved routes into Apple Maps or Google Maps
- Edit, reorder, enable, disable, and manage saved routes quickly
Route behavior
NextStop stores the route data you save, including the starting point and the ordered destinations for the trip.
When a saved route is launched from the app or a widget, NextStop passes that route into Apple Maps or Google Maps. Route handling, traffic data, ETA calculations, and other navigation behavior are controlled by the map app you choose.
Important
NextStop is a route-saving and route-launch tool. It does not provide navigation data itself and does not control Apple Maps, Google Maps, iOS, or CarPlay behavior.
Users remain responsible for reviewing route details before travel and for safe and lawful driving.
