NEXTSTOP PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains what information NextStop ("NextStop," "we," "us," or "our") may collect, store, use, and disclose when you use the app.

1. Overview

NextStop is built to let users save routes, store ordered destinations, and create widgets for iOS and CarPlay that launch saved routes into Apple Maps or Google Maps. We try to limit unnecessary data collection, but some information may be processed to provide app features, keep the app working, and respond to support issues.

2. Information We Collect

A) Saved Route Data

We may collect, store, and process the route information you create in the app, including route names, labels, saved starting points, destinations, stop order, preferred navigation app settings, and widget-related configuration data.

B) Technical and Usage Data

We may process limited technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, timestamps, request IDs, crash data, performance metrics, and feature usage metadata.

C) Communications

If you contact support or otherwise communicate with us, we may keep your contact information and the contents of the communication.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• create, save, edit, organize, and launch your routes,
• create and manage iOS and CarPlay widgets for saved routes,
• pass your saved route data into Apple Maps or Google Maps when you choose to launch a route,
• maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the app,
• investigate crashes, failures, abuse, or misuse, and
• communicate with you about support, service issues, or policy updates.

4. Maps, Widgets, and CarPlay

When you launch a saved route, route data may be transmitted to Apple Maps or Google Maps. Widget and CarPlay features may also rely on Apple platform services. Apple, Google, and other platform providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.

5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Information may be stored on your device and, where supported, in company-managed or service-provider systems as needed to provide app functionality. Data may also remain for a limited time in backups, caches, logs, or replicated systems before permanent deletion.

6. When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app, such as cloud hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, or support providers, and with Apple, Google, or other platform providers when needed to provide route launch, widget, CarPlay, or platform functionality.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.

7. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. 8. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, use should be with appropriate supervision and only where lawful.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Effective Date at the top will indicate when the latest version took effect. Continued use of the app after a revision becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
