CHIME PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains what information Chime Alarm ("Chime," "we," "us," or "our") may collect, store, use, and disclose when you use the app.

Chime Alarm is built to let users create short alarms, reminders, spoken prompts, and optional recorded alarm messages. We try to limit unnecessary data collection, but some information may be processed to provide app features, keep the app working, and respond to support issues.

A) Alarm and Reminder Data

We may collect, store, and process the alarm and reminder information you create in the app, including alarm titles, dates, times, repeat settings, selected sounds, text entered for spoken alarms, and related configuration data.

B) Recorded Audio

If you use custom recorded alarm messages, we may collect, store, and process the audio you record and the related metadata needed to save, edit, and play that audio through the app.

C) Technical and Usage Data

We may process limited technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, timestamps, request IDs, crash data, performance metrics, and feature usage metadata.

D) Communications

If you contact support or otherwise communicate with us, we may keep your contact information and the contents of the communication.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• create, save, edit, organize, and play your alarms and reminders,
• process text-to-speech content and recorded alarm audio you choose to use,
• maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the app,
• investigate crashes, failures, abuse, or misuse, and
• communicate with you about support, service issues, or policy updates.

4. Audio and Platform Processing

Text you enter for spoken alarms and audio you record for custom alarms may be processed as needed to generate, store, and play the alarm content you request. Apple or other platform providers may also process audio, notification, or diagnostics data under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Information may be stored on your device and, where supported, in company-managed or service-provider systems as needed to provide app functionality. Data may also remain for a limited time in backups, caches, logs, or replicated systems before permanent deletion.

6. When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app, such as cloud hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, or support providers, and with Apple or other platform providers when needed to provide notifications or platform functionality.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.

7. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing.
