App Vitals is built for developers who connect their own App Store Connect reporting credentials. This policy explains what stays on your device, what is sent to Apple, and what Potato Studios Development LLC receives.
1. Overview
App Vitals is operated by Potato Studios Development LLC. The app helps developers view selected App Store Connect Sales and Trends report metrics in the app and in an iOS widget.
App Vitals is designed so your App Store Connect API key and report data stay on your device unless you choose to share information with us for support.
2. Information Collected
Potato Studios Development LLC does not collect your App Store Connect API key, issuer ID, key ID, vendor number, downloaded reports, widget metric selections, or cached report metrics from App Vitals.
If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message contents, screenshots, logs, or other details included in your request.
3. On-Device Data
App Vitals stores setup information on your device so the app and widget can work. This may include your App Store Connect key ID, issuer ID, vendor number, imported private key file name, widget metric selections, cached metric values, and the latest refresh date.
The imported .p8 private key is stored locally using Apple platform storage. App Vitals uses it to sign requests to Apple's App Store Connect API. Potato Studios Development LLC does not receive or store this key.
You can delete saved setup information in the app. Deleting the app also removes app data stored on the device according to Apple's normal iOS behavior.
4. Analytics, Diagnostics, and App Data
App Vitals does not include third-party advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Apple may provide standard App Store, purchase, crash, and diagnostic information to developers through Apple systems, depending on your device settings and Apple's policies. That information is handled by Apple and may be visible to Potato Studios Development LLC in App Store Connect.
5. Data Sharing
App Vitals sends requests directly from your device to Apple's App Store Connect API using the credentials you provide. Apple receives those API requests and returns report data to the app.
Potato Studios Development LLC does not sell App Vitals data and does not share your App Store Connect credentials or report metrics with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Support Communications
If you contact Potato Studios Development LLC for support, we use the information you provide to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve App Vitals. Please do not send your App Store Connect private key or other sensitive credentials in support messages.
7. Deleting App Data
You can delete saved App Vitals setup information from inside the app. This removes the imported API key, saved account fields, and cached widget metrics from that device.
To delete support emails or other information you previously sent to Potato Studios Development LLC, contact [email protected].
8. Children
App Vitals is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, use the app only where lawful and with appropriate supervision.
9. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
